Sob story

I didn’t expect to be on the verge of tears on day three! Boy of boy, by the middle of the afternoon I was in a bit of a pit of gloom. We were working on APIs and I ended up completely stuck, going round in circles. Part of the problem is that I’m not great about working in OOP, and functions referring to other functions: I get quite muddled following what data is going where.

I was relieved at the end of the day when Julien, our teacher, made it clear that lots of us were having the same trouble! He talked us through it all and then this evening I managed to get it to run. Despite Julien telling us firmly not to work this evening! It was only a few minutes … and I feel so much better now that it’s done.
