MinifigNet - DemoDay project for Le Wagon

I worked for two weeks, with two classmates, to create an image recognition model using a Convolutional Neural Network.

Working from a database of images available on Kaggle, we created a site where users could scan or upload a photograph of a Lego Minifig figurine. The model would then identify the name of the figurine. If it could not identify the toy, the user could enter the correct details to boost the database.

Watch our DemoDay presentation here!

The Minifig website is set up using Streamlit - it is no longer operating due to Google’s fees for Google Compute Engine (!), but the basic site is still live.
