Open to work

Well, here we are - time to start looking for work!

I didn’t pass the exam, which is frustrating - I’ll need to resit some of the papers in March. But (and this might explain my confusion in the previous post) it seems like the exam isn’t that big a deal. What’s more important is to sell my skills and personality – and of course, pass technical interviews!

So the plan now: tidy up my CV, LinkedIn, github and this site, and get out there.

I’ll be travelling a lot this year, so it’s not good timing to look for a permanent role. Instead I’m going to look at short term jobs and freelance work, to build up the experience I need.

If anyone’s looking for an enthusiastic machine learning developer, give me a shout!

Oh, and do get in touch if you want to know any more about Le Wagon - I’ve already had people reach out on LinkedIn and I’m happy to talk through why you should do it - it’s a great course.
